As an Invocation to our epical achievements on academic and humanistic fronts we deem it our duty to pay a glowing homage to Guru Dronacharya-the legendary, luminous and glorious Guru of the Mahabharata period who has provided an eternal nomenclature to the Group of Institutions successfully functioning under the aegis of Smt. Anguri Devi Charitable Trust founded way back in 1997 by Hon'ble Dr. Satish Yadav, a Mechanical Engineer, a wonderful visionary, vibrant social activist, enviable educationist, dynamic administrator, eminent writer and seasoned statesman endowed with myriad Awards for his scintillating achievements on various fronts. The Management forms a group of compassionate, like-minded and philanthropic Trustees whose sole objective is 'Education and Help'. Evidently the Trust aims at dispelling the darkness of ignorance through dissemination of the shimmering light of education and bringing smile to the faces of the down-trodden, miserable and the needy. The trustees are professionals of proven merit endowed with genuinely trusted credibility formed on the bed-rock of philosophy containing the quintessence of our culture, an almanac of our goodwill gesture and the soulful wisdom of our sagacious sages.

The Dronacharya Group, functioning defiantly, determinedly and dynamically, has accepted education as an 'Express Way' to achieve its long cherished glorious goals and tantalizing targets. The Trust launched its well-devised programme with Dronacharya College of Engineering, Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon approved by AITCE and affiliated to M.D.University, Rohtak in 1998. It has grown from strength to strength with its initial intake of 120 students in the four streams to 420 in 2009. The college has earned the reputation of the DCE of Southern Haryana. The Campus is located in idyllic and sylvan surroundings in the midst of sprawling lush green lawns far from the madding crowds and in the very lap of nature. In the year 2000, at the dawn of the new millennium, the Management made an other mark in the annals of education by establishing Dronacharya Public School in Gurgaon. The school has not only come into limelight for a cultural, healthy and disciplined environment, it has carved out a niche among reputed 'Foundation Schools' in the tremendously developing city of Gurgaon. With an experience of nearly a decade in the sphere of peerless, purposeful and progressive professional learning at our back, we have strategically strived to establish our new college under the same blessed brand at Knowledge Park-III in Greater Noida rightly named Gautam Buddha Nagar commemorating the most sagacious Indian sage whom British scholar Edwin Arnold has aptly called the 'Light of Asia'. The new college is the Management's greatest and latest gift to the people of kaleidoscopically expanding NCR. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure developed on the line of the latest technology and equipped with all the facilities the aspirant students and their parents can think of.

The faculty is the back-bone of any educational Institute and keeping in view this stark reality the Management has appointed highly qualified and extremely experienced faculty. 'The real academic strength of an Institute lies in providing a substantive, solidified, dedicated and scholastic faculty' observes an educationist. Teaching is a demanding profession and it has become a more tremendous challenge with the advent of more ambitious and career-conscious students of today who come out with unbelievably high scores. There is a rational faculty-student ratio that enables the Departments to organize knowledgeable Seminars, Tutorials, Presentations and Group Discussions. In Dronacharya College of Engineering careers are crafted with tender care. Faculty members who succeed in generating cent-percent results, with myriad Merits in the University Examinations, are offered 'The Best Teacher Award'. Students whose names figure in the Merit lists of the University are offered suitable Awards and Certificates in order to boost their morale and motivate others. The topper-tag has become a way of academic career in D.C.E. since its inception. The credit of scintillating success and large number of Merits goes to the sterling students and the dedicated faculty members who work in utmost subordination to the dedicated, dynamic and scholastic Head of the Institution. A large number of our students have gone to Australia, Canada, U.K. and U.S. for higher studies. The Placement Cell happens to be the very hub of all our endeavors especially to see our Final year and Pre-Final year students properly placed through campus placements in prestigious companies as INFOSYS, WIPRO, I.B.M. and L&T.

Our endeavour in future will be to impart value-based quality education, produce myriad merits in the University examinations and explore all avenues for maximum employbility. We are emotionally committed to the cause of education and our aim, objective and vision is nothing less than excellence in academics leading our students both at Gurgaon and Greater Noida to the highest seats of professional learning and opening most enviable avenues in placement which will make parents proud of their wards on whom they pin up all the future hopes and dreams. The Management once again repeats its pledge to make every possible endeavour to see our students have a steady, speedy and sustained growth. The Dronacharyans are dearer to us than anything and everything in the world and their development, enhancement and progress happen to be our primary objective, ambition and mission.
